URINARY TRACT PREVENTION
URINARY TRACT INFECTION TEST
Check the presence of leucocytes, proteins and nitrites in urine to verify the presence of infection caused by bacteria.
INDICATED FOR
All people who suffer occasionally and/or frequently from urinary tract disturbances.
WHY SHOULD I PERFORM THE TEST?
Urinary tract infections are usually caused by bacteria. Men, women, and children can suffer from such infections. The test should be performed when there are the following symptoms: excessive frequency and/or burning during urination, turbid and/or foul-smelling urine.
The first phases of these disorders could be without any symptoms, that’s why it is very important to verify it as soon as possible in order to avoid the development of more serious and painful pathologies.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The test works pointing out the presence of leucocytes, proteins, and nitrites when in higher-than-normal quantities.
1) The sample is the first urine of the day collected in a clean cup contained in the box.
2) Each field of the strip-test verifies the relative substance.
3) Dip the strip-test for 2 seconds.
4) Wait for 1 minute then check the colors of the strip-test.
